Alarm Systems Installation & Maintenance
 Our
Technical Department, consisting of 4 technical teams, are
well trained and equipped to install and maintain state of
the art alarm systems in any application.
There are a number of ways to secure your home,
however, the best way is with a reliable well designed, well
maintained electronic alarm system.
Mamba's Technical Department not only supplies
and installs alarm systems, but we also offer maintenance
and servicing of your existing security system.
Our Technicians receive training on a continuous
basis to enable them to install and maintain all types of
systems. If you need your system modified, you can rest assured
that we have the knowledge of all the latest technologies
and will be able to design an alarm system
to suit your needs.
Our Technical Department has a large consignment
warehouse. This will enable us to assist
with almost any need without any delay.
How to avoid false alarms:
- Spray the detectors every 6 months with insecticide. (avoid
spraying on the passive lense)
- Ensure your entry/exit delay time is sufficient to suit
your needs.
- Ensure that all users of your alarm system are able to
operate the system correctly.
- When your system is armed, please keep all windows and
doors closed, as even the slightest breeze could activate
a detector.
- Pets & birds can also cause false alarms. Make sure
you fit the correct equipment in order to accommodate your
household pets and your environment.
- If you have installed outdoor detection devices, keep
your garden well trimmed to avoid
plants and leaves interfering with the operation of your
system.
- Outdated or faulty equipment can also cause false alarms.
- Contact us on 011-609-0237 promptly to report any faults
on your alarm system.
Please note that excessive false alarms will be charged
for.
Phone our control room outside peak hours on
011-609-0227 to test your alarm system. This
must be done at least once a month to ensure that your alarm
system is in working condition.
After hours service calls can be arranged
on request, at an after hours rate.
As we approach peak holiday periods, our Technical
Department experiences a huge influx of
service call requests. To avoid any unnecessary delays, contact
us well ahead of time to book
a Technician.
In order to maintain optimum service levels
and to assist us in peak periods, Mamba employs the
services of the best contractors in our area.
If you need basic programming changes on your
system, such as time and date or bypassing,
you can contact our Technical Department on 011-609-0237 and
we will try our best to assist
you over the phone or, if needed, we will send a Technician
to assist you on site.
