14/12 Shots Fired in Highway Gardens
 Ernest Moagi (left), a Mamba Reaction Officer, narrowly escaped death when a suspect he was trying to apprehend pulled a gun on him in Highway Gardens. Ernest fired a shot at the suspect who tried to flee on foot but was arrested. The Mamba Control Room was contacted to provide back-up. The suspect was thought to have been involved in an attempted armed robbery that had taken place earlier that day where the suspect had fired shots at a resident. An unlicensed firearm was recovered and handed to the Edenvale SAPS.
 Andre’ Van Schoor from Mamba, as well as the Special Operations Unit, arrived on the scene and continued the search for a second suspect who was thought to still be in the area. Information received from the community lead Jaconiah Sangweni (left) from Mamba to a house in Charmion Street, Highway Gardens where he found and arrested the suspect who had sustained a gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel were contacted and the suspect was transported, under police guard, to Thembisa Hospital.

22/09 We received a panic from a premises in
Sebenza. A guard noticed 3 suspects attempting to break into a premises nearby. The suspects tried to
flee the scene, our Reaction Officer chased after
them and one was arrested and handed over to
SAPS.
21/09 A Guarding Supervisor working in
Elandsfotein pointed out a suspected thief to one of our patrolling Reaction Officers. The Reaction
Officer chased after the suspect and, on investigation, found the suspect to be in possession
of stolen goods. The suspect was arrested and handed over to SAPS.
19/09 An alert Domestic worker noticed a suspect
jumping over the wall onto the premises she was working at. She pressed her panic button and, within
minutes, Mamba Reaction Officers arrived on the scene. The suspect was arrested and handed over
to SAPS. No goods were stolen from the premises.
17/09 A member of the public pointed out a suspect
to one of our Reaction Officers who was patrolling in
Elandsfontein. The suspect had robbed a pedestrian
of his money. The Reaction Officer chased after the
suspect and arrested him. The pedestrian's money
was returned to him and the suspect handed over to
SAPS.
11/09 While patrolling a Reaction Officer noticed
four suspect tampering with a client's gate. The Reaction Officer went to investigate and found that
the suspects had broken into the premises. The suspects tried to flee, but one was arrested and
handed over to SAPS.
08/09 13 Illegal Immigrants Arrested.
On the 8th of September a joint operation between Mamba Special Ops, Edenvale SAPS and EMPD took place in Sebenza. Complaints had been received about vagrants sleeping in the veld and this area was targeted.
15 People were detained of which only two were able to produce a South African Identity Document. The other 13 suspects were arrested by Mamba’s Special Ops team and were handed over to the Sebenza SAPS for processing.
Being pro-active will help assist in lowering the crime rate in this area. Operations like this are vital to improving the safety of all who live and work here. 06/09 Received a panic signal from Edenvale. R/O responded and arrested a suspect who was hiding on the premises. Stolen goods were recovered.

25/08 4 Suspects caught red-handed & arrested by Spec Ops & R/O’s for 2 armed robberies in Edenglen. Stolen goods recovered & suspects handed to SAPS
24/8 R/O responded within 1 minute to a panic in Croydon. Armed robbery in progress. Suspects fled & were later arrested by SAPS, stolen cash recovered.
12/8 Kidnapping & human trafficking, rescue of 12 girls, 4 suspects arrested by Piet, Benjamin & Ben in Edenglen. Passports & laptops recovered

07/06 Reaction Officer Langa responded to an alarm activation in Edenvale. Suspect fled when the break-in was witnessed. Due to a quick response and with the assistance of the Special Operations Unit and SAPS, the suspect was arrested.
06/06 Reaction Officer Barend was patrolling in Highway Gardens when he noticed the SAPS chasing a suspect. Barend gave chase & arrested the suspect. Suspect was handed over to the SAPS.

17/3 A cell phone was stolen out of clients bag. Mamba traced the cell phone.Mamba Special Ops unit responded. 3 suspects arrested & cell phone recovered
11/3 Edenglen Client phoned in to report theft by one of his employees. Mamba Special Ops Unit responded & arrested 1 Suspect. Suspect handed to SAPS.

28/01 R/O Godfrey responded to an alarm activation in Sebenza and Special Operations Unit was called as back-up. 1x Suspect was arrested and stolen goods recovered.
28/01 RO Harold responded to an alarm activation in Eastleigh and due to his quick response the suspects were interupted. Only a window was found broken & no goods were stolen.
23/01 Special Operations Unit responded to a burglary in Foundersview. 3x Suspects were arrested.
21/01 During patrols Special Operations Unit noticed 3x suspicious men in Sebenza. On investigation stolen goods were found. 3x suspects arrested for drinking in public & for being in possession of stolen goods.
21/01 Due to quick response, Special Operations Unit arrested 2 suspects after attempted burglary in Toermalyn Rd. Croydon. Suspects handed over to Sebenza SAPS.
18/1 Sebenza - ROs responded to a panic. Client was held up by 3 armed men. Due to quick response all 3 suspects were arrested. Firearms & cash recovered.
