An Accolade from Hospice
25 January 2011
It is truly difficult to put into words just how much we, at Hospice, appreciate the wonderful “mountain” of canned food, we received from your efforts with the Christmas Charity Drive!! One can only imagine all the hard work and long hours that went into achieving such a fantastic result. We certainly appreciate and are truly most grateful for your wonderful contribution to Edenvale Care Centre Hospice.
On behalf of all at Hospice our most sincere thanks for this wonderfully generous gesture. Our sincere thanks must also go to Dominique for all her hard work in co-ordinating the whole project and for organizing the distribution of the food.
Once again, our heartfelt thanks.
Kind regards
Sincerely

Medical Emergency
28 June 2011
I would like to thank Mamba staff for the help they gave me this morning when I called for assistance when my husband colllapsed when we were walking our dog.
I called and asked for help and two emergency vehicles and an ambulance arrived within 20 minutes one can not ask for better service Thank you.
It appears that my husband is going to be fine since going through a series of tests.
It is such a relief to know that Mamba will help you when you need it.
Kind regards

Your Wonderful Donation of Lots of Food
Dear Elaine and all at Mamba
On behalf of the many stray and unwanted cats and dogs who we look after, thank you so very much for thinking of them and putting time and effort into initiating this collection.
So many dogs and cats are brought to us every single day that it is quite heartbreaking. At least, thanks to the kind people of Edenvale who have compassion for our four-legged friends, we are able to provide them with the best possible care, while they stay with us.
Always remember each individual animal will benefit in some way because of your contributions. Thank you for caring so deeply for them.
Thank you very much for this.
With kind regards,
EDENVALE SPCA

Dear Mamba Family/ Group
2 June 2011
I would like to shed some light on your fantastic service delivery. This letter is far over due, but I would still like to share my experience with the Mamba group!
I live in Edenglen. I am involved & live in the road closures provided to us by Mamba and SSG.
A couple of weeks ago (Beginning/ Mid May), I was on my way home in the early hours of the morning on a Saturday. I passed a Mamba patrol vehicle going in the opposite direction. He had recognised my vehicle, I assume, and came to a complete stop. In the corner of my eye I watched him do a complete u-turn and increase his speed from 10km/hour to 40km/hour just to catch up to me. He followed me all the way home, waited for me to get settled in my home, and after I had switched off all lights, and climbed into bed then did I only hear his vehicle move away and out of my road.
I felt terrible the next morning as I did not even acknowledge or thank my reaction officer who ensured my safety that night. So I kindly ask that you do pass this onto your staff.
I could not tell you the sense of relief and safety I experienced that night! I am truly grateful for the excellent service that you have provided over the 15 years I have been living in Edenglen.
Mamba staff have compassion and dedication towards their residents and passion in what they do. You have always put your residents first and are willing to risk your own lives for our safety. Sometimes its the little things you do for me (us) that warm my heart – its how you work together as a family which is very refreshing!!
Again... thank you for all your hard work in ensuring our safety comes first!
Best Regards,
Mamba’s number 1 fan!!

I accidentally placed my pets' vaccination records on the roof of my car and these blew off in the wind when the car was in motion. Simon searched the whole area, looking in all the gutters and thankfully found the folders in a street far from us. He returned the folders to us and we were very grateful because the records contain my two dogs entire history for the last five years. Well done to Simon. He is an exceptional individual and really went beyond the call of duty to recover our precious documents. Thank you |
