Mamba Emergency Medical Response
A
large part of the service Mamba gives to its customers
is helping them when medically, things go wrong.
We are proud to have been on hand to help with
many heart attacks, strokes, vicious dog attacks, insect bites
and severe swelling, people who have got stuck in gates and
doors, and people who have fallen and hurt themselves, we
even have a few babies running around out there named after
our Reaction Officers.
We have helped with hundreds of alcohol related
injuries, drug related injuries, attempted suicides, drownings,
vehicle accidents, shootings and the like.
Because Mamba has the advantage of being able
to get to you quickly, our Reaction Officers are trained in
basic Life Support and First Aid and can get to you before
things get out of hand many times minimizing and/or preventing
the problem from escalating. We are also a great help in these
urgent times of need in assisting the paramedics and ambulance
services in getting to you, finding your house, and identifying
your problem.
In addition to this, every single customer of
Mamba receives a service, as needed, from Excalmed, who have
the proper qualifications and equipment to take on the more
serious medical injuries, at no cost to our customers. It
is our standard practice that our Control Room calls Excalmed
out for EVERY medical situation no matter how big or small.
All our customers also receive discounted rates on ambulance
and helicopter transportation if and when needed.
We also list our customers medical information
onto our systems, information such as Doctors details, allergies,
medical problems, etc. We also supply car stickers, and in
the event that the information is needed by the authorities
it can be given quickly and accurately.
Mamba also works very closely with the Chaplain
Service and in the event of a serious medical or traumatic
situation, we are able to help our customers right away, again
at no charge.
Mamba is often acknowledged for the caring and
empathetic manner in which our staff handle these traumatic
situations.
