The purpose of the Neighbourhood Security Forum (NSF) is to maximise the number of eyes and ears in the area that are being utilised in the fighting, prevention and combatting of crime. Involving Domestic Workers, as well as residents that spend time at home during the day, is the best way to create a sustainable, effective, security awareness team.

At the monthly NSF meetings, we will be dealing with topics like:

  • How to identify suspicious activities, behaviour and people in your area
  • How to and what information to record
  • How to communicate that information to Mamba or the SAPS.

Receiving accurate, up-to-date information, is the most effective, pro-active method of policing crime. This can and will be achieved, with the co-operation and input of the hundreds of suitably trained community members in your area.

All information received will be handled with a high degree of confidentially and anonymity.
