Security Tips
HOW CAN YOU PREVENT
HOUSE BREAK-INS

Criminals choose targets.
Make vour home less attractive to them.

Keep gardens clear of
rubble, ladders, garden furniture, etc. Trim all trees
away from walls & roofs.

Increase the risk to
criminals! Thorns!!
-
Palisade fencing and
spikes to simulate swords in a row.
-
Precast walls to have
viewing holes, spikes, and height.
-
Report & avoid any
suspicious people or activity.
-
Link vour alarm, panic,
fence, outdoor detectors, to Mamba.
-
Test alarm equipment
regularly by phoning our control centre outside peak times.
-
Verify all visitors
via a peephole or intercom first.
-
If suspicious, leave
lights off.
-
Adequate lighting should
face away from the house.
-
Preprogram emergency
numbers, neighbours, etc into phones.
-
Keep a phone in your
bedroom at night.
-
Keep doors and gates
locked & windows closed when out.
-
Keep valuables out of
reach of windows.
-
Bars on inside of windows!

Security gates on inside
of doors, also in main passage.
-
Double action latches
& disc locks should be used throughout. Add sliding
bolts and pins. Also to electric gate.

When out, leave radio
& bathroom light on & most curtains open. Curtains
on garage windows so as not to let on you're out. Regardless
of dog, have a big kennel and big bowls!

Check spanish bars for
tampering from time to time.

Keep a first aid box
and a fire extinguisher handy.

Keep panic button on
cotton around your neck or side pocket of car. Get references,
copies of id documents, and photos of servants. Explain
emergency/neighbours numbers to kids & servants.

Do not park car on the
pavement or an incline out the gate.
-
Use a cross bar to lock
car in absence of garage.
-
Do not leave vehicles
visible to the street.
-
Always keep vehicle
maintained, fueled, with useable spare.
