TIPS FOR A SAFE HOLIDAY

• Holiday accommodation booked!
• Arrange travel insurance
  
• Remember to arrange proper care for your pets
• Broken windows etc have been repaired
• Airline tickets booked and secured
  
• Alarm system has been checked and tested
• Insurance policies are all up to date and in order
• Drive carefully take breaks watch the other guy!
• Vehicle checked and serviced
  
• Get someone to collect all your post!
• Leave curtains facing road open
  
• Arrange someone to keep an eye on your property
• Arrangements have been made for the pool / garden service
• Notify your security company that you will be away
• Geyser and stove will be turned off before leaving
  
• Someone or a timer to switch the lights on and off
• Water & electricity, phone, etc, bills have all been paid
• All spare cars safely garaged or stored
  
• Leave bathroom lights and a radio on
  
• Stop deliveries such as newspapers, milk, medication
• Minimize contents of the fridge and the freezer
• Someone to water the plants
